Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actress. She is acclaimed for her acting as well as being among the most well-paid Bollywood actors. Nush clothing is the brand she is associated with and she is the ambassador of a variety of brands. Forbes Magazine has featured her in their magazine as well. Anushka Sharma's parents were Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is a colonel retd. Her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, her brother and producer of films, served in the Merchant Navy. Anushka graduated from Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore granted her with a Bachelor of Arts. Anushka is a master of studies in economics. Anushka was always aspired to become journalist or model or an actor, but she never thought of it as a profession. Anushka joined Elite Model Management after graduating in the field and received training from Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka started modeling in 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. The show also asked her for the spring collection Summer 2007 by Rodricks. Anushka has worked on several brands since her debut as model during Lakme Fashion Week. She's done campaigns with Fiat Palio, Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry, and Fiat Palio. Anushka began giving film auditions alongside her modelling. In 2008 Anushka Sharma began her acting career with the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took time to study and was able to not do the test impromptu. Then she was a part of three films for Yash Raj Films. In the movie she was the young, middle-aged bride man (the part Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was seen along with Shahid Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film received mixed praises. Anushka was an Punjabi girl who was from middle class in a movie named 'Band Baaja Baraat. The film featured her alongside Ranveer. The film received a positive review and turned out to be an overnight success. Anushka was able to complete her three-film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films.
